Pressure cycle testing is a test performed to determine the durability of a material or system. This testing involves applying repetitive pressure cycles within a specified pressure range to simulate the exposure of the material or system to actual conditions of use. These tests are often used to evaluate the durability of components exposed to pressure, such as pipelines, plumbing systems, pressure vessels, valves, pump systems.
